After having a week off school, I’m getting rather bored. That’s why I’m doing this, just to kill some time. It rather hot today too which makes doing nthing seem like a chore. Anyway, to business!

Yesterday, Dave C, Rob, Dave J, Jon, Sanjay, Steve and I went to Beckenham to see Batman Begins. It was very quiet because it was during non-brat hours. A very fine film it was too. Plenty of action and Michael Caine too. If you haven’t been to see, I suggest you go. As all good action films should have, it has an excellent car chase with a very cool batmobile. I suppose it’s more like a tank than a car, but it’s still very cool indeed

There isn’t really much else to say, other than school begins on Monday for another five weeks. Two of which I have no registration, which is good because I don’t have to leave home on Monday until about 0910. Shame it’s Tyler first really. Oh well.

Also, I’m planning on doing no work in german for the next five weeks. I can use my time far more wisely. It also means that if I don’t go to the lessons, I can leave early on a Friday like the rest of the year group. Our class is the only one with a lesson period five on a Friday. Oh well, not for much longer :D

That’s all folks.

So, yesterday was quite good. It made a change from the norm. I went to Thorpe Park for the first time in nine years!

I had never been on rides such as Colossus and Nemesis Inferno before. I was really looking forward to it. Except for the early start and the tiring walking around all day but, it was worth it.

The day started off at West Wickham Station for me, where I met Jon on the train. We travelled to Elmer’s End, where we met Dave

Then the three of us caught the tram to East Croydon where we were to meet Lewis, Rob and Dave J. The queue for tickets here was surprisingly long but it went quickly. There were quite a few chavs too. £8.30 to Staines return isn’t too bad really.

After two train journeys, and a bus ride, we finally arrived at our destination.

Once in, I followed the others lead, and went on Vortex.

Which Jon and Rob obviously enjoyed

We then attempted to go on Samurai, a spinning ride which I knew I’d hate, but I gave it a go anyway.

There it is, Samurai

It quickly broke down whilst we were on it, a sign of things to come maybe? Hopefully not.

Looking quite disappointed there. It was a right bummer.

After this disappointment, we all went on Colossus, the main attraction at Thorpe Park.

That’s five loops in a row

It’s one hell of a ride.

As with Dave C, I can’t remember what we did after that, so here are the rest of my pictures from the day, with explanation:

Rush

Everyone except me on Rush. I wasn’t feeling too great after Samurai the second time, so I didn’t go on it. I should have really, but oh well.

Slammer. A ride that looks worse than it is. Good fun really.

This was very random. Quite disturbing too.

Jon got very annoyed with Dave later in the day and decided to knock his lights out. It didn’t work.

Tidal Wave. A very wet ride. We didn’t go on it. It clouded over towards the end of the day.

At Staines station. It was a tiring day.

CHAV! And there were plenty more than that. Plenty worse too.

So, after having a drink at Café Nero, we waited for Lewis to return from Nemesis Inferno once more. This was at about 1720. I didn’t get home until 1955. It took over 2 and a half hours to get home. That damn bus company. I think we know who the bus driver works for.

Talking of that fiend, we saw his Chinook again, hovering over Colossus whilst we were on it. He knows where we are all the time!

I bought three ride photos whilst I was there:

From Nemesis Inferno

And all three together:

The third is from Logger’s Leap. A very good water ride

So, a tiring but worthwhile day. I’d definitely go again when the new coaster opens next year. I’m going to the cinema on Friday to see Batman Begins. Should be really good. I’ll let all you wonderful readers know how it goes.

Bye

At Last! The exams have finally finished for another six months. And so has German!

Well, I hope so. I’m not planning on doing it next year, so I hope to “persuade” Frau Launisch that I shouldn’t need to go to lessons from now until 21st July which is when school finishes. A complete waste of time I think, which could be used doing such educational activites as playing cards. And talking. And eating. Well, anything’s better than German!

As I said, the exams are now over. 4 weeks of them I’ve had. I had Stats on Thursday which, to tell you the truth, should have gone better. I think I got about 75% ish. Which will hopefully give me an A overall. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday was the worst day of the whole exam period. When I found out that all three physics exams were goingot be on the same day I thought, “I just won’t be able to do it”. Well, I had to and to be honest, I went OK. It was just very long. I think I may have to re-sit the Forces and Motion paper, I really did do that badly.

In other news, I’m going here on Monday. Yes the merriment of Thorpe Park! I haven’t been since I was about 6, so it should be a bit of a shock how it’s changed. I’m really looking forward to it, although it will dry up my funds for a few weeks, but meh, it should be worth it. No, it will be worth it, as long as the weather holds out.

I bought this poster about a week ago. I thought I’d get used to putting pictures on the blog. It’s probably come out crap, but I don’t care. I think it looks good anyway.

That is all for now my loyal readers and chavs.

Well, once again, it’s time to blog. I haven’t had time recently because of exams etc. I had Chemistry today, which went OK. Could have been a bit better. One thing which really hacked me off was the fact that they asked us about Lead extraction, despite the fact that it hasn’t been taught to us. I think I could have got an A. If I did, I just scraped it.

I’m supposed to be revising some Stats for the exam tomorrow, and Physics for Friday, but I’ve given myself a break from that boring crap about discrete Random Variables and Electromagnetic waves. Which are of course not always waves. 10 points if you can tell me when they are not waves.

I think I’ll be jumping on this rather full bandwagon, and do this:

01. Reply with your name and I will write a short phrase describing you.
02. I will then tell you what I admire about you.
03. I will make up a short drabble with the both of us in it.
04. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
05. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.
06. Put this in your journal.

I’ll try and be honest. For some of you, I may just ,make it up because I don’t really know you. Others, I can write a lot about. Give it a go.

Well, that’s it for now. Back to the revision
