Well, the exams are in full swing now, as you may have guessed from the other blogs on the left. First up was General Studies last Monday. A fine piece of shite that was too. “Should the government intervene with the way parents bring up their children?” 17 marks. That was the question I chose for the last section. Mightily boring it was too.

The next exam was the one that I was dreading most, german oral. This involved regurgitating my presentation for two minutes about Auchwitz concentration camp, I subject that I have found surprisingly interesting to research. I then had to “discuss” this topic for a further eight minutes. I was rather frightened of this exam but, Launisch said it was quite good so, I think I did OK.

The following day was the follow up to “measure a current through a brick” – The Physics practical. I won’t go into detail but, I got a reasonable result for the unkown resistor of 112 ohms. I then had the rest of the week with normal lessons.

Moving on to yesterday, I had three exams – Maths C2, and the final two general studies. Maths I found good in parts and general studies was once agin a load of bull:

“Describe two effects of a particular artistic, theatrical or musical style”.

Then:

“Describe how this style came about” 4 marks

I DON’T KNOW! Stupid general studies.

Today was the day that I had ben loking forward to for about a month – My last ever german exam. There were two exams, Reading & Writing and then the listening exam. Both of these were harder than expected. The listening exam involved a question on a roller skating priest:

“What is your on personal opinon on Priest X (fill in German name of choice)?” This question was in German. 8 marks.

Then:

“What do the old people think of him?” Also in Deutsch. 8 Marks

I reckon a B in german overall.

In other news, I went to see star wars episode three: Revenge of the Sith on the day it came out. In my opinion a great film. Definitely the best of the prequel trilogy. Everybody liked. Rob even liked it enough to see it twice. Everybody that it except for this fool
He laughed at a part of the film that nobody else (except for Matt Howard) laughed at. Never again will I see a film of this brilliance in the presence of a fool like Lewis.

That is all for now my kind readers.

Weather: Cloudy, cold, dull
Reading: Nothing
Listening to: Beauty of the beast, you know by who
Watching: CSI later
Confused about: The Weather
Annoyed with: Charles Langdon
Mood: Happy
